It was an exciting day for the Momentum Team on Sunday 6th of March, as they sat in front of a huge crowd of the freediving and diving community in Italy at the Eudi Dive Show.
In fact Director Artur Kade said, “We had the most people attend out of any presentation over the duration of the show. People applauded a few times during the presentation and the feedback was very positive and people really liked it.”
Not to mention that the Momentum presentation held the crowd to the very end, which was wonderful and so appreciated by the team since it was their first public appearance.
Momentum Freedivers, Umberto Pelizzari, Guillaume Nery, Andrea Zuccari and Illaria Molinari, plus underwater cameraman Fabio Ferioli and director Michele Coggiola, spoke on their experiences in shooting Momentum, shared more on the sport of freediving and really supported the crowd to understand how Momentum has the power to shape the future of freediving.
"After almost four years, it was an amazing feeling to be able to show the public some images from the actual movie. I was nervous and excited at the same time. People loved it and more than that, they felt the need to see more. That’s what we were looking for.” Director, Michele Coggiola said.
Freediver, Umberto Pelizzari was also thrilled by the turnout on the day.
“Many people during the last few months approached me asking questions about this project and I never had enough info to give out. Still today, I haven’t seen the movie and I can’t do anything more than wait to see it too!
But during the presentation I did understand something: I saw people’s faces, how interested they were, how drawn by the images the were, the look of kid’s faces when the mermaid came on the big screen, and I thought: this is going to be a great movie.”
